By the end of February, the JX well in the JIN30 well area of Dongsheng gas field has been producing gas at a stable rate of more than 250,000 cubic metres per day for more than 40 days, with an unimpeded flow rate of more than 1 million cubic metres, again breaking the record for high-producing wells in Dongsheng gas field, marking a new achievement for the North China Oil and Gas Branch in developing the tight and low-permeability gas field in the Ordos Basin.

The JX well was completed using Shelfoil's liner retraction fracturing process, with a horizontal section length of 2,000 metres. The successful production of the well once again demonstrates the technical advantages of the liner retraction fracturing process in the development of tight oil and gas wells.

At present, horizontal wells in Dongsheng gas field are mainly completed using the liner retraction fracturing process. This process is a tailor-made completion process developed by Shelfoil for tight oil and gas fields such as Dongsheng field, which has the advantages of simple process, safety and reliability, and strong compatibility with various fracturing processes.
